An ethnic upheaval

Taking a break from my work at 11.20 AM, I was standing outside a tea shop sipping my “special” tea just like I used to do every day. But this time I felt something peculiar inside when I saw what was in front of me. A girl was walking beside her mom wearing a so called dress with a sleeveless top (frankly I’m unsure of its name!) hanging low well below her neck and a shorts which by itself well above her knee caps. But the irony was it was folded till her thighs were visible.
It seemed like she was hallucinating herself as if she is walking on the roads of the US or the UK. You might immediately probe into this with furious questions like “what’s wrong when it’s so common elsewhere? Why this differentiation?? “I reckon it’s an erroneous question. The question should be "what is common?"The answer is only the 'kind of species' and nothing else. Right from the way they even name their friends ('mothafucka') and we start with ('o***'), everything is completely contrasting. This might sound so silly as an example, but these silly things start to amplify much faster than our ageing process does. At the age of 12 they receive sex education in their schools. But over here, the word "sex" is an unpardonable word for a 12 year old kid. In some schools interaction between the two genders is prohibited. If something is suppressed and compressed within a child, its going to explode one day most likely at the very wrong place and at the wrong time. This is so conspicuous. Children should not be held away from these things when they are going to see and experience one day. Instead, they should be educated. Anyways, I’m not here to voice out the flaws in the educational system.
Human psychology always works in a very simple way which everyone is so ignorant to accept it. When something is restricted, we are more curious about to know what is in there. In those western countries, they expose their children to the world right at the age of 18 after educating them about such sensitive things. People there are pragmatic without any doubt. Some people here are sensible enough by preventing themselves from venturing into these kinds of stuffs. But the majority of the people are still at large who want to know and experience it. Maybe half of them are with humanity consideration not to venture into it as it might cost one's life but, the rest half find this as the most pleasurable thing god can instill in one's body. Well, yes, none is wrong here. As a statement with a factual meaning, the understandings are right. But the place and time parameters are completely erratic.
By no means am I defending the brutal act of the men in any manner here. In the recent protests against these rapers, girls put forth the slogans "why should we change our lifestyle? Change your mentality". When a girl exposes herself in movies, they are called “hot” and that is taken as compliment. But when a girl is called the same on streets when she exposes, it’s abusive. Now who has a difference in mentality? The guy who calls the models as hot is the same guy who calls this girl on the streets. As a matter of fact, girls are drifting so fast towards other cultures than guys. The victims need not be the girls who are bold enough to expose themselves. When guys look at them on streets and find them interesting, they might not act on the same girl but on someone else who might dare not to fight them. A victim can even be a girl who fights for her living, trying to climb the ladder of life slowly and at last dreaming of the day when she'll make her parents proud. But their dreams are shattered just in a spur of a moment. This urge in the guy who has not seen the outside world can cost her life. Maybe he can be hanged or chemically castrated, of course that's the right thing to do. That will definitely instill the fear in them straight away. but what’s the point? Do you think the problem is solved? Is he the REAL and ONLY accused? Is everything back to zero? My answer is NO. The girls who think that they are challenging and bold are also the indirect entities for these rapes. This should also be attended and taken care with equal intensity. If someone feels this culture imposed on them is absurd, they are welcome to get out. But when you try to overrule it, it’s not only that girl suffers, but the girls who are innocents too. You might call me as a male chauvinist, but when there are people who dominate women for things that are very unnecessary, I’m willing to use my power of being born as a male to protect my sister or my friend or the girl who is on the streets without knowing what is in store for her.
It is not only the men who are having dubious mentalities, but the women too. Well, changing mentality is easy, but we are dealing with something entirely different, the function of our hormones. This is nature and we have to accept it how much ever disgusting it might sound. When we accept the saying “when you are in Rome, be a roman”, why can’t all of us be one among all the others in the society? Why do we try to be different? When there are thousands of dimensions of girls in India, there are millions of guys with different thinking. You can neither satisfy nor stop anyone outright. It’s always better and safe to be pragmatic than being bold. I am writing this not to justify the heinous act, but to make it evident that there are other hidden factors leading to such acts. I’m writing this hoping that one day the lives of the innocent girls will improve without having to bear the fear of getting molested or abused by these retarded men.
